Cancelling CybrGate is online and self-serve, and it is designed to be as easy as signing up. This page explains exactly what happens when you cancel and what you are owed, with no fine print doing the opposite of what it says.
The short version
- The local scan is free. Uninstalling the extension is all it takes to stop using it.
- Cancel a paid subscription online at any time. No call, no email, no retention offer.
- You keep access through the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Fees are non-refundable. You evaluate CybrGate free before you ever pay, so paid charges are final. The most we would ever owe you for any claim of any kind is one month of fees.
1 The free scan #
The local scan is free and needs no account, so there is nothing to cancel or refund. Remove the extension from Chrome and it stops. If you were never enrolled in an organization, we hold no data about you (see the Privacy Policy).
2 Cancel anytime #
A paid subscription renews every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time, online, without speaking to anyone: [OWNER_CONFIRM: billing portal URL]. Cancelling stops future billing. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again after that.
3 How to cancel, step by step #
- Open the cancellation page: [OWNER_CONFIRM: billing portal URL].
- Choose to cancel the subscription and confirm.
- That is all. We do not ask you to call, email, fill in a survey or talk to a person, and we will not show you a retention offer in place of cancelling.
If you cannot reach the page, write to hello@ardynamicsinc.com and we will cancel it for you.
4 No refunds #
All fees are non-refundable. CybrGate is sold month to month, you can cancel at any time, and the free local scan lets you evaluate the engine fully before you ever pay. For those reasons we do not refund fees that have already been charged — including partial months, unused seats, downgrades, or any time remaining after you cancel. Cancelling stops future billing; your access continues until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. There is no separate refund request to make: you simply cancel.
Absolute ceiling on anything we could owe. Should any refund, credit, or payment to you ever be required — whether through a billing dispute, a chargeback, or a claim of any kind relating to the Service, on any legal theory — the most we will ever refund, credit, or pay you is, in the aggregate across all such claims, one (1) month's fees — the monthly fee for your seats, or, for an annual term, one-twelfth of the annual fee. We do not credit months already used; prepaying for a longer term does not raise this ceiling; and the total of everything we could owe you will never exceed that one month of fees. This mirrors, and is subject to, the limitation of liability in Terms of Service, Section 16.
This section does not reduce any non-waivable right described in Section 7.
5 Chargebacks #
Please contact us before you open a bank dispute: it is faster, and it avoids chargeback fees on both sides.
6 What happens to your data after cancellation #
What the extension does after a subscription ends depends on the managed policy you set in Chrome. Remove the extension or its managed policy from your browsers when you no longer want it to report. Event data is kept for your retention setting, and you may ask us to erase your organization's data at any time (see the Privacy Policy, retention).
7 Statutory withdrawal rights #
Nothing here limits any right of withdrawal or refund that mandatory consumer law gives you where you live.
